Wobblebots saves your child's creations (robots, sticker album, earned hats, daily progress) locally on the device. If the device is signed into iCloud, this progress is also mirrored to your own iCloud account (via Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage) so it syncs between your family's devices and survives reinstalling the app. That data belongs to you; it never touches any server operated by us, and we have no way to read it.
Wobblebots can show your child's robot standing in your own room. That needs access to the camera, and it is the only reason the app ever asks for it.
The camera picture is used solely to draw the robot into what the camera is seeing at that moment. It is processed on the device and discarded: never uploaded, never stored by us, never sent anywhere. There is no face detection, no image recognition and no analysis of any kind. The app makes no network requests while the camera is in use, or at any other time.
Both the camera button and the shutter in room mode save their picture to your own photo library and nowhere else. The app asks only for permission to add photos, never to read them, so it cannot browse or delete anything already in your library. There is no sharing feature and no way for a picture to leave your device from inside the app.
You can refuse camera access, or switch it off later in Settings or Screen Time. Everything else in the app works exactly the same without it.
Wobblebots offers a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks the full catalog. It sits behind a parental gate and is processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store payment details; Apple keeps the purchase attached to your Apple ID so it can always be restored.
Wobblebots is made for children aged 3-7 and is designed to comply with the App Store Kids Category rules, COPPA and GDPR-K. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.
All data lives on your device and in your own iCloud. Deleting the app removes the local copy; the iCloud copy is yours and can be cleared in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud. For anything else, write to us.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new date.
